The
Tivoli Lagos consists of nine buildings
linked by terracotta tiled paths, archways,
staircases, and is set Lagos amid in gardens.
The hotel stands between the city and the
town's marina on Lagos Bay, and is built
to resemble a traditional hillside village.
Simply furnished and decorated, the 342
air-conditioned guestrooms all have terraces
or balconies and feature satellite television
with music channels, minibars, and tea/coffee
making facilities.
Guests at Tivoli Lagos can sip cocktails
on the sundecks around the outdoor pool,
head for the solarium which houses a heated
pool and a hot tub, or take the complimentary
shuttle bus to the hotel's private beach
club, two kilometres away. At Tivoli Lagos,
the onsite health club incorporates a fully
equipped gym, sauna, steam and massage rooms
and there is a games room offering table
tennis and darts. Children can splash in
their own separate pool and are kept busy
at the kids' club in summer months. Guests
can dine in the informal Italian-style restaurant,
in the traditional Portuguese tavern with
its whitewashed walls and rustic furniture
or out on the adjoining terrace. There are
plenty of quiet sitting areas in the hotel's
nine buildings; two of the lounges have
open fireplaces for winter comfort. Practical
amenities include round the clock front
desk and room service and free onsite parking.
The hotel is 50 metres from the marina and
within a kilometre of Lagos town centre
and the railway station. The Roman ruins
at Salema and the Zoo are 10 kilometres
away. Faro airport is 80 kilometres and
about a 45 minute drive away.
