The Portuguese painter Mily Possoz lived
at Hotel Tivoli Lisboa, adjacent to Hotel
Tivoli Jardim, for nearly 30 years, beginning
in 1948. When she ran out of money, she
paid in paintings. They adorn Hotel Tivoli
Lisboa's public spaces. Most striking are
her pastel portraits of Portuguese women
in regional dress.
